Our clients at Windsor Vale Manor reached out to us to design a pair of fireplaces for their beautiful 17th century Manor.

We spent time getting an idea as to what our client liked/disliked, whilst ensuring we kept inline with heritage of the building and area. Our team worked closely with our client to ensure that each step from design to installation were matching what they had envisioned.

We designed two unique fireplaces, the first to go in a library and the second to go in the main lounge area.

The first of the fireplaces was a slightly more contemporary finish, but on the contrary maintained the heritage of its surroundings. The second, was a completely tailored design, which captured elements of the building and its rich history.

We carefully select the fitting stone for each of our projects.

For these fireplaces we crafted limestone, in keeping with the limestone features of the property. For the first fireplace in the library, we researched historic buildings to implement traditional shapes and mouldings. Elements of the fireplace such as cyma-recta moulding and joggle jointed jambs make this fireplace unique and thoroughly thought through. Secondly, the fireplace for the lounge area was also hand tooled from limestone. The tracery carvings and triple moulded mantel piece really make this fireplace a perfect combination of gothic architecture and at one with its regal surroundings.

We are super proud of the end result on this project.

However, more importantly our client are overwhelmed with their one of kind fireplaces. We researched methods and designs for such unique fireplaces and through careful consideration and working closely as a team we achieved above and beyond what was anticipated. We endeavour to use techniques and processes used on this project to continue to create such artisanal projects.
